Lodge Command LLC ("Lodge Command," "we," "us," or "our") operates lodgecommand.com. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights with respect to it.
Text messaging is optional and requires separate, affirmative consent — a member must check an unchecked consent box on our opt-in form. Providing a mobile number is never required to use Lodge Command.
Your mobile information will not be sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile numbers are disclosed only to the messaging carriers and service providers strictly necessary to deliver the messages you asked for, and to no one else.
Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are excluded from every category of sharing described anywhere in this policy; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
A member may withdraw consent at any time by replying STOP to any message, which permanently suppresses further texts to that number. Reply HELP for assistance. See our SMS terms for the full program disclosure.
Lodge Command is a software-as-a-service platform built for Freemason lodge secretaries and officers to manage membership records, lodge communications, dues, and events. Our users are lodge secretaries and officers ("Account Holders") who manage their lodge's data within the platform.
Account registration data. When you register a lodge, we collect: your email address and password, your lodge's name, number, jurisdiction, physical mailing address, and lodge contact email.
Member records. Lodge officers enter member information (names, email addresses, phone numbers, addresses, dues status) into Lodge Command on behalf of their lodge. You, as the Account Holder, are responsible for having appropriate authority to input and manage this data.
Member sign-in. A lodge member whose email address is on his lodge's roster may sign in to read his lodge's notices, events and birthday list. He signs in with a one-time code sent to that address; there is no member password. For each member who signs in, we keep a sign-in account holding his email address and name, linked to his lodge's member record. We use it only to let him in and to show him what his lodge has shared with members of his degree. It is removed when he is removed from the roster or his roster email address changes, and he may ask his lodge or us to remove it at any time.
Notifications you turn on. A member may turn on notifications for a phone or computer. We then store what that browser gives us — an address at the browser maker's notification service (Google, Apple, Mozilla or Microsoft) and the keys needed to encrypt a message to it — together with his lodge and member record. We use it only to send his lodge's notices to that device. It is removed when he turns notifications off, when the notification service tells us the device is gone, or when he leaves the roster. Notifications are never the only way we reach him: every notice is also emailed.
What members read in the app. When a member reads a notice in the app, we record that he opened it, and any reaction he chooses. His lodge's officers can see which members have read each notice and who has not, so they know whether a notice got through. Other members see only the totals for reactions, never who read what. We do not track whether anyone opens an email.
Opt-in records. When a member consents to receive text messages, we record the date and time of consent, the exact consent language shown, and the IP address from which consent was submitted.
Usage data. We collect standard server logs including IP addresses, browser type, and pages accessed, for security and operational purposes.
We do not sell your data. We do not use member data for advertising or marketing purposes.
Lodge communications sent through Lodge Command are initiated by an officer of the lodge (the Account Holder). Every outgoing email includes the lodge's physical mailing address in the footer, a working unsubscribe link, and is sent in compliance with the CAN-SPAM Act (15 U.S.C. § 7704). Unsubscribe requests are honored immediately and permanently.
All data is stored on Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure in the United States. Member records are stored in encrypted databases (AES-256 at rest via AWS KMS). We implement industry-standard security measures including HTTPS/TLS for all data in transit.

These providers process data only as necessary to provide their services and are bound by their own privacy policies. They are service providers, not marketing partners.
All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
Account and lodge data is retained for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your account, we will delete your lodge's data within 90 days of cancellation, except where retention is required by law. Opt-out records are retained indefinitely so that we can continue to honor them.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us. If you are a lodge member whose data was entered by a secretary, please contact your lodge secretary directly, as they are the Account Holder responsible for that data.
Lodge Command is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. Freemason membership requires applicants to be adults.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to Account Holders by email, and the "Last updated" date above will be revised.
